Aviation >> Airport Planning & Design

In March 2020, Aeropuertos del Perú (AdP), as concessionaire of Talara Airport, awarded the Applus – AERTEC consortium the preparation of the Technical File for the refurbishment of the Airside and Marginal Extension of the Perimeter Fence of the Capitán FAP Víctor Montes Arias Airport in the city of Talara.

The scope of the works includes the design of the refurbishment of the airfield at the level of the construction project. The works include, among other aspects, geometric configuration, levelling, pavements, drainage, ground lighting, design of perimeter fence and road, perimeter lighting, surveillance booths, affected services, operational safety, phasing and budget.

The works carried out affect the runway, taxiways, apron, margins, strip, RESAs, service road, SEI road, perimeter road and perimeter fence.

AERTEC is developing the design works using BIM methodology, developing 3D models for the different disciplines. This methodology allows for better coordination between disciplines and a more efficient detection and resolution of possible interferences.
