New waste collection & disposal facilities Malaga Airport (Spain)

For the correct management of organic waste, Malaga Airport put the new facilities for waste collection and disposal out to tender, including the construction of buildings, installations, machinery and equipment.

AERTEC was the company selected to carry out the selection of bids for machinery, waste management and circulation, and plant layout with several design alternatives. The added value AERTEC brought to this contract was its experience in plant sizing for design according to waste storage and treatment capacity, coordination and management of work lines for the different wastes, and selection of machinery and equipment from different manufacturers. Specifically, it has led the design, construction project and construction management of the new plant, which allows it to project optimal solutions that combine uniqueness, knowledge, function and technology.

It should be noted that Malaga Airport reached 19,856,299 passengers in 2019.
