Seville will host the main meeting of the aerospace and defence sector in Spain, Aerospace and Defense Meetings-ADM, from 7 to 9 June, in which more than 200 companies from 24 countries will participate. Among them AERTEC, an international company specialising in aerospace and defence technology, which attends ADM showcasing its capabilities and technologies in the design and development of onboard systems.

This specialisation extends to the areas of avionics, aircraft electrification, certifiable onboard software and guidance, navigation and control systems in which AERTEC has a catalogue of aerospace and defence systems products. AERTEC applies advanced in-house technology to cover the complete development cycle for certifiable equipment, thanks to its experience of more than a decade, in which it has been increasing its capabilities for the design and development of onboard systems, a segment with a high growth projection in the coming years in the aerospace industry due to ongoing domestic and international aerospace and defence programmes.

AERTEC’s innovations include the development of intelligent and dynamic solutions for power distribution in aircraft that contribute to the challenge of Zero Emissions in 2050, such as a solid-state power controller capable of achieving from 0 to 540 VDC, which distributes high-voltage power in aircraft, and with a view to continuing to increase this power voltage; it is one of the few companies that has managed to achieve this to date.

“In the industry, we are recognised as specialists in the development of innovative onboard systems, since we are one of the few Spanish companies specialised in this area, in which we are capable of managing the complete onboard equipment cycle, from design and rapid development of prototypes to their industrialization and certification”, says Sara Bellido, Business Development Director for the AERTEC Aerospace and Defense Systems Department.

This year, ADM Seville is celebrating its 10th anniversary, which also coincides with AERTEC’s 25th anniversary, during which it has built a workforce of more than 600 professionals and registered companies in Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Colombia, Peru, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
