In fact, AERTEC participates in different vertiport planning and design projects domestically and internationally, which are the infrastructures aerial vehicles will use both for the distribution of goods and passenger transport and for takeoff and vertical landing. One of these projects is currently in development in Hamburg, where a consortium of 11 companies, including AERTEC, plan to build a modular vertiport in 2024 and study its feasibility and efficient integration both in the city and its airspace.
In addition to the design, planning, and certification of these “airports for drones”, AERTEC specializes in the provision of other services in the context of Advanced Air Mobility, such as conducting studies and consulting for UAS services (routes, platforms and use cases); support engineering services to operations management and operational safety; development of technologies related to the advanced electrification of aircraft and the design and manufacture of on-board systems.
