Innovation in aerospace and defence systems
Innovation via the More Electric Aircraft (MEA) concept, aiming for a noticeable improvement in aircraft efficiency, and in advanced defence systems.
AERTEC has devoted several years to working on innovation, design and development of intelligent and dynamic power distribution solutions for aircraft. We are aware of the challenges of electrical systems and the importance of the More Electrical Aircraft concept.
The areas of expertise and the objectives we have set in this area of innovation are as follows:
- Use of disruptive and innovative technologies.
- Development of electric systems that substitute hydraulics or pneumatics.
- Improvement in monitoring systems.
- Increase in overall aircraft efficiency.
- Increase in power density.
- Increase in use of HVDC energy and efficient management of increased demand.
