My first few days at AERTEC

I have been interested in the world of aeronautics since I was a child and chose to study a Master’s degree in RPAS to learn more about the sector. During my studies, we had the opportunity to find out about different companies operating in the sector and AERTEC was one of them.

My career at AERTEC

I was thrilled and learnt a lot on my first day at work. I was introduced to the members of my team and to other colleagues, who helped me on my first day and made me feel at home. Over the course of the morning, I walked around the facilities and was introduced to the teams with whom I would work.

I would define my career at AERTEC as a journey of constant learning. Since I joined the team, I have worked in many different areas, some of which brought great challenges, which have allowed me to develop an overview of projects and how the company works.

What I like most about my job

Most definitely the ongoing opportunity to learn and grow. And of course working with my colleagues in such a collaborative environment.

I usually start my day with a daily meeting with my team to make sure that all tasks are being handled properly and that everyone knows what other colleagues are doing, in particular, if someone is working from home. I then start to focus on the daily tasks assigned to me.

I really enjoy working on hardware design tasks, because this allows me to learn more about electronics and think about creative solutions. Seeing how teamwork results in creating a physical and functional product is incredibly satisfying.

This is a great place to work because the work conditions are great (flexibility, working from home, recognition, etc.). In addition, you can work on cutting-edge projects in the sectors in which the company operates, for a company that allows you to grow professionally and with an amazing work atmosphere.

Life beyond the office: my hobbies

What I enjoy the most is travelling, kick boxing and photography.
