Consultancy firm AERTEC has participated in this programme since the beginning, providing industrial and manufacturing engineering services.
127 firms, all suppliers of the A400M programme, from nine different countries, took part in a meeting arranged in Seville. Antonio Gomez-Guillamon, Managing Director of AERTEC Solutions, also participated in the round table “Present and Future of the A400M”, acting as President of HELICE business action cluster. He was joined by three speakers from AIRBUS Military: Alberto Gutiérrez, Managing Director of Operations and Global Supply Chain; Philippe Galland, Services Director; and Rafael Nogueras, Director of A400M Industrialisation and Delivery Centre (all can be seen in photo).
AERTEC Solutions has been working on the A400M programme since its outset. Initially the firm provided services relating to the design of the Final Assembly Line, defining and optimising the assembly line and the industrial & logistical processes. Then once the production phase had started, the firm provided systems engineering services, providing support during the testing and installation and assembly of the systems. AERTEC Solutions is currently assisting AIRBUS Military with production control and planning of the manufacturing activities in almost all of the stations.
