AERTEC Solutions is opening a new commercial office in Abu Dhabi, specifically in Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone, an important business centre located in Abu Dhabi airport. The firm, which already has other international offices in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States and Colombia, decided in 2018 to establish a branch in the United Arab Emirates in order to be closer to its various clients in the Middle East, especially in the area of airports.
The development of more and more projects in the Middle East, where we began to position ourselves strategically a few years ago, was making our physical presence there necessary.
AERTEC has a wealth of experience in the development of projects in the area of consultancy and engineering for the airport sector in countries such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar. The new commercial office will allow it to extend its radius of action in sectors such as aerospace and defence, which are markets with significant growth prospects in the Middle East.
In the coming weeks, the technology company plans to close several collaboration agreements with the different universities of Abu Dhabi, where it intends to take its competition to search for university talent in order to solve various real challenges within the aeronautical field. This competition, the Aertec Solutions Challenge, has already been held three times in Spain.

We therefore started considering opening a commercial office in the Middle East last year.”
These days, and with the new AERTEC office in Abu Dhabi already up and running, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre will be hosting the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2019), an unmissable event for the more than one thousand land, sea and air defence industry companies from all over the world that will be presenting their latest technological developments at this exhibition. AERTEC Solutions will, of course, be present.
IDEX is a specialised international trade fair and a leading platform for Middle Eastern countries in the context of technological development and innovation in unmanned aerial systems. The trade fair covers in detail the entire supply chain in design, engineering, testing, simulation, production, components, electronics, sensors, etc. related to the manufacturing of RPAS. In this context, AERTEC Solutions, an international technology company specialised in the aeronautical industry and aerospace and defence systems, will present its lightweight and fixed-wing aerial platforms “TARSIS”. These are high-technology tactical RPAS, designed by the Spanish company for observation and surveillance applications.
