AERTEC Solutions, an international engineering company specializing in aviation, is attending the 52nd edition of the International Paris Air Show 2017, which will be held at Le Bourget from 19th to 25th June. As it did in 2015, the company will be attending with its own stand located in the Spanish Pavilion (Hall 1, Stand G326).
AERTEC Solutions will present its latest technological developments designed to optimize its wide range of engineering services for the aircraft industrial cycle, including its expertise in manufacturing and industrial engineering, coverage, production planning and control, programme and project management, testing system engineering, tooling and quality control services.
This system is fully compatible with the client’s own technology.
Specifically, at the Paris Air Show, AERTEC Solutions will showcase its MRO support system that addresses in real time, and remotely, the need for technical support in aerospace plants, using augmented reality and from any authorized mobile device. The solution enables the operator to contact a team of experts from AERTEC Solutions by videoconference, using a tablet or a smartphone, without the need for a physical presence.
The system will allow, simultaneously, the setting of parameters and sorting of tasks in an information system that will record them to enable rapid identification in case they are repeated in the future. The recording of these data will allow further analysis with the aim of obtaining information that will help to optimize the time and cost of aeronautical production. “At AERTEC Solutions we call this Socializing Knowledge. Thanks to the globalization of information, it will be possible for an expert from our staff who is, for example, in the USA, to direct a task that is running in a European aerospace plant,” says Rafael Márquez, Director of the Department of Aerospace Systems at AERTEC Solutions.
This system is fully compatible with the client’s own technology, since it is only necessary to have a mobile device or augmented reality goggles to be able to connect. During the Paris Air Show, AERTEC Solutions will perform different demonstrations on its stand showing how the solution functions so that potential customers can find out about it first hand. The system will be presented at an event tomorrow, Tuesday 20th, which will be attended by a delegation from the Andalusian Regional Government, led by the Managing Director for Industry, Energy and Mines, Natalia González, along with the Managing Director of the IDEA agency, Antonio González Marín.
The company has launched a similar system for airports, called ATIKA, which also allows passengers to connect via videoconference with airport staff to resolve any doubt or query. The good results arising from the application prompted AERTEC Solutions to extrapolate this to the aviation industry, in a clear example of synergy between the company’s areas of specialization.
