The future of airports under debate

Around fifty international experts, from various countries, will meet on 20 and 21 September at the International Congress Málaga Aviation Forum, organised by AERTEC Solutions, the international engineering and consulting firm specialising in aeronautics. The objective of this meeting is to share opinions and experiences to collectively build a complete, current and future vision of airports.

The programme is made up of four lectures and a round table, and will cover the analysis of new technologies that will drive the Airport of the Futurethe Passenger experiencethe increase in non-aeronautical revenue and optimisation of operating costs. Real case studies from Europe, the USA and the Middle East will be discussed to share specific experiences on existing and future technologies that will influence airport planning, development and operation in the coming years. Leading companies and organisations in the airport sector such as AENA, Ferrovial, The Hettema Group, Mott MacDonald, Munich Airport, DAA International and Fraport are part of the Málaga Aviation Forum programme.

Experts will focus on how passenger experience has changed and, above all, How to improve it Looking to the future, which is also one of the primary objectives for airports seeking to be more than mere transit hubs and to become, why not, a destination in themselves.

The auditorium at the Málaga Centre Pompidou will host the Málaga Aviation Forum, which is also the second edition of the International Airport Congress that was held last year in the same location, also organised by AERTEC Solutions. The international engineering and consultancy firm specialising in aeronautics has over 20 years of experience with references in more than 130 airports across 40 countries. Currently, AERTEC's international projects represent more than 80%% of the company's airport business volume.
