The future of architecture in the aerospace sector

On Monday 8 October the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), in collaboration with Airbus y AERTEC Solutions, is organising and hosting a conference on “.“Aerospace Architecture and Engineering: a new field for entrepreneurship".

The aerospace industry, in which Andalusia finds one of its main economic pillars, bases its rapid evolution on the development of technological innovations that promise a future full of possibilities. But this acceleration of innovation is made possible thanks to the different and multidisciplinary professional profiles that form part of the aerospace sector. This is the case of the figure of the architect, and the influential and determining role that aeronautical engineering can play in companies of this type.

The aim of this conference is to analyse the role of these professionals through two round tables: one of them will be an example of the role they play. the figure of the architect at Airbus, and in another the architecture programmes being developed by aerospace companies, AERTEC Solutions, which has established itself as one of the most specialised international firms in airport architecture. The event will conclude with a conference given by Piero Messina, from the European Space Agency.

The activity is part of the programme of activities of the Andalucía Emprende Chair of the UNIA, and is aimed at professionals in the aeronautical sector and students and graduates of the Schools of Architecture of Andalusia.
