International conference «Future in Spanish»

 

Antonio Gómez-Guillamón Presenting AERTEC Solutions“ internationalisation strategy and experience in the Latin American market at the international meeting ”Future in Spanish", held in Malaga, which brings together leaders, experts and entrepreneurs from Spain and Latin America.

 

AERTEC Solutions is presenting its Internationalisation strategy and experience in the Latin American market at the international meeting “Future in Spanish”, an event aimed at becoming a forum for discussion between institutional and business figures from Europe and America, and exploring mechanisms to increase trade between the two continents.

The founder and CEO of AERTEC Solutions, Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, has been invited to participate in this forum to share the company’s trajectory and international market presence in its fields of operation, the airport, aerospace and defence sectors, which has led it to develop projects at over 70 airports across 26 countries on five continents, and to be present in major global aviation programmes.

The event kicked off yesterday afternoon with a reception at the Science and Technology Centre of the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA), where Gómez-Guillamón spoke about the aeronautical innovation, a key aspect for the development of this highly technological sector and for increasing the competitiveness of companies in a global market.

The conference today unfolds its central programme at the Edgar Neville Auditorium in Malaga, where lectures and round tables are taking place with prestigious experts, entrepreneurs, managers, and heads of public and private institutions from Spain and Latin America. They have addressed aspects such as Innovation and technological development in Latin America, his/her/its role as development engine economic, the business and investment opportunities between Spanish and Latin American companies, and success stories of Spanish firms in the Latin American market.

The director of AERTEC Solutions, Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, participates in the latest panel discussion, in which he presents The keys to the company's internationalisation process and its experience in international projects, especially in Latin America, a continent that has become one of its strategic growth markets. “Latin America is a natural market for expansion for Spanish companies, with no language barriers and very numerous business opportunities. At AERTEC Solutions, we have always been clear about our international vocation and since 2011 we have been resolutely committed to growing in this,” he stated.

In his speech, Antonio Gómez-Guillamón highlights the opportunities that Latin America offers to Spanish companies in the field of airports and other emerging aviation sectors, such as unmanned aerial vehicles or systems (RPAS/UAS), in which AERTEC Solutions has been participating in recent years thanks to contracts in countries in the region. “We are developing, or have developed, projects in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Panama, and Bolivia. Futuro en Español is an initiative driven by the The Vocento Foundation and the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) with the aim of exploring and disseminating the possibilities offered by the use of Spanish in the world, serving as a forum for debate between personalities from Europe and America, and exploring mechanisms to increase trade between the two continents.

The event lands in Málaga to leverage the synergies derived from its strategic location and its status as a leading city for idiomatic tourism in the teaching of Spanish. Each year, it welcomes 13,000 foreign students, a strength that will underpin one of the programme's main strands. The activities will delve into the field of technology, which has two hubs with extraordinary growth potential. The event was inaugurated by the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, and will be closed this afternoon by the President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Susana Díaz.
