AERTEC exhibits its technology at Expodefensa

Between 2 and 4 December, the International Business and Exhibition Centre of Bogota will be hosting the Expodefensa International Defence and Security Exhibition. It is the most important fair of this industry in Latin America-Caribbean and is held with the support of the Ministry of Defence of Colombia. This year, more than 12,000 professional visitors are expected, who will meet exhibitors from 25 countries. Spain takes on special prominence in this 2019 edition of Expodefensa, as it is the fair's Country of Honour. Almost twenty Spanish companies are taking part from today in this important event that covers the four sectors: Land, Sea, Air and Space. Among them, AERTEC Solutions, which will be attending Expodefensa with its portfolio of technology solutions in the defence market.

The Spanish international engineering and consultancy firm has extensive experience in the aerospace and defence sectors. As highlights, it covers the design of on-board equipment and provides innovation in aircraft and unmanned vehicle guidance and control systems. One of its high-tech tactical unmanned aerial vehicle systems (UAV/RPAS), called TARSIS 25, will be on display at the AERTEC Solutions stand. This versatile solution allows different configurations and missions for observation, surveillance and reconnaissance applications.

The company is also showcasing other innovations in control and guidance systems for unmanned aerial systems. These include a simulation environment for RPAS, configurable and adaptable to different working environments and systems; a small, lightweight and high-performance guidance kit; and a laser emitter to be operated as a countermeasure system in unmanned aerial platforms.
