Round table on AAM in S-Moving organised by AERTEC

The Advanced Air Mobility, AAM is a concept that is going to transform cities, evolving towards a smarter, more efficient and sustainable model. A transformation that has already begun thanks to the development of disruptive technologies, which are gradually being implemented, and which will find one of its greatest exponents in the definition of a new urban airspace. In this sense, AERTEC is already applying its extensive experience in the development of next-generation aerospace systems, its knowledge in the field of air navigation, as well as in the design of airports and landfills, in favour of more efficient and sustainable urban mobility.

On the occasion of a new edition of S-MOVING, the Intelligent, Autonomous and Connected Vehicles Forum, to be held on 20 and 21 September, AERTEC is organising a top-level round table to discuss many of the aspects related to this new mobility environment.

AAM, Advanced Air Mobility, challenges and opportunities

This round table is motivated by a reality such as the implementation of a new type of passenger and cargo transport system oriented towards the urban environment. It consists of the use of aerial vehicles with vertical take-off and landing, with electric propulsion and the capacity to move automatically, autonomously or remotely controlled. Intermodality and interoperability will be two essential elements for the success of the AAM.

The aim of this round table is to bringing together key actors in the development of MEAs to take stock of current progress, the impact on cities, as well as to identify the essential actions still needed for early implementation.

The round table will be moderated by Ana Pérez, Aviation Expert at AERTEC, and will feature José Ignacio Rexach, Commercial Director for Europe and LATAM of E-Hang; Marc Olmo Criado, Drones Business Development Technician at ENAIRE; Miguel Ángel García Muro, Councillor for Mobility and Digital Transformation of Zaragoza City Council; and Carlos Berenguer, General Manager of Aviation at AERTEC.

At the round table we will have a 360º vision of the AAM from the expert point of view of the aerial vehicle developers (E-Hang); from the perspective of the distribution and organisation of airspace (Enaire); from the perspective of a City Council with the upcoming implementation of the AAM, which will allow us to understand the problems it plans to solve (Zaragoza City Council); as well as an approach to the necessary infrastructures and compatibility with current airports (AERTEC).

In addition to organising the round table, AERTEC will be showing its advances in the field of AAM at one of the most important national events, S-MOVING. We look forward to seeing you on 20 and 21 September at FYCMA, Palacio de Ferias y Congresos Málaga.
