AERTEC digitises the industrial resources of the AIRBUS electrical workshop

iWorkbench at AIRBUS Tablada

AERTEC Solutions has signed a new contract to carry out refurbishings at the AIRBUS Tablada electrical workshop. This recent contract is the result of a series of collaborative initiatives launched several years ago aimed at develop and put into production various industrial means of Industry 4.0 such as, for example, iWorkbench.

Industrial media for smart industry that reduce set-up and working times and synchronise the incorporation of design changes.

AERTEC Solutions, a Tier 1 manufacturing engineering supplier to AIRBUS for 20 years, has been working closely with the AIRBUS Tablada manufacturing engineering team to develop a system lean The system includes digital overhead projectors, robust workbenches, interactive software, operator tablets and barcode scanners. iWorkbench simplifies, enhances and streamlines cable manufacturing by providing direct access to the workstation information system through interactive digital production orders.

The result is an industrial environment for the smart industry that reduce set-up and working times and synchronise the incorporation of design changes, thus offering a "one-stop shop" capability.right-first-timeThe "new" system minimises rework and drastically reduces development times.
