Companies belonging to the Aeronautical Systems Cluster of the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA) are visiting the Advanced Centre for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) and the AIRBUS headquarters in Seville.
The cluster, made up of 14 aerospace sector companies based in the Malaga technopolis, includes AEI (Advanced Engineering & Innovation), AERTEC Solutions, Andalucía Tech, Arpa Solutions, Atyges, AT4 wireless, CITIC, Coritel (Accenture Group), DHV Technology, Fujitsu, IBM, Indra, Mesurex Aeronautics, and Raytheon among its members.
Among the objectives of this visit is to bring together businessmen from the aeronautical sector from different Andalusian provinces in order to create synergies. According to Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, CEO of AERTEC Solutions, “collaboration between companies is not an option, but an obligation in a market that, like the aeronautical market, demands that we all contribute the best we have in each case”. Furthermore, and along the same lines, “the synergies that can be created between companies in our environment will allow us to tackle the international market with greater guarantees,” he concluded.
Among the advantages offered by this type of cooperation are achieving better positioning for companies within the sector, increasing their productivity, or facilitating their internationalisation.
The aerospace systems business cluster at PTA centres its work on creating a cooperative space in which participating companies can develop their innovative vocation, create synergies, and strengthen aeronautical business development.
