This working group is made up of companies specialising in the aeronautical sector and located in the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA). Six new companies have just joined, and from now on they will work together with the rest with the aim of promoting cooperation to improve their competitiveness in national and international markets.
The main purpose of the Aerospace Systems Business Cluster is to create a space for cooperation where companies can develop their innovative spirit, foster a collaborative environment, and promote the aerospace sector.
The first meeting of this working group was held last June. The companies involved very positively assessed the business opportunities that may arise from carrying out joint actions, which is why the consolidation of the PTA's aeronautical systems cluster was promoted.
According to Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, CEO of AERTEC Solutions and a member of the PTA's Aeronautical Systems Cluster, “collaboration between companies, such as those belonging to this working group, which are specialists in cutting-edge technologies within the aeronautical sector, allows us to access the complex global market with a certain guarantee of competitiveness.”.
“Undoubtedly, the union of the knowledge of two technology companies significantly increases results,” concluded the CEO of AERTEC Solutions.
Major companies in the aeronautical sector, such as Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Bombardier, ESA, or EADS, require highly specialised suppliers capable of permanent innovation and with a certain capacity for work. Therefore, initiatives like this one help the participating companies as a whole to improve both their commercial reach and business results thanks to joint collaboration.
At the meeting held this week at the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA), the six new companies were presented, who from now on will contribute with the rest of the group in creating business synergies. These companies are Fujitsu, ADIF Railway Technology Centre, IBM, Promálaga, Atyges and DHV Technology. As of today, 16 companies have already joined the working group.
