Between 14 and 16 March 2017, the sixth edition of the HOMSEC, International Homeland Security Technologies Exhibition, now established as the leading platform in Spain for professional exchange in the National Security and Defence sector, and which this year aims to exceed the figure of 15,000 visitors. AERTEC Solutions is part of the 195 participating companies, who will meet at IFEMA for three days to exhibit their latest developments.
International engineering specialising in technologies applied to aeronautics will showcase its portfolio of solutions in the field of unmanned aerial systems, highlighting the Fixed-wing aerial platform “TARSIS”, a versatile, high-performance solution that allows for different configurations and missions. It is a high-tech tactical unmanned aircraft (UAV/RPAS) designed for observation and surveillance applications for both civil and military sectors.
Specifically, AERTEC Solutions will showcase its TARSIS 75 and TARSIS 25 versions, which are the result of intense work from the company's most technological side in recent years. At HOMSEC 2017, the company is exhibiting a real unit of its lightweight tactical RPAS, the TARSIS 75, at its corporate stand G01. This version offers a wingspan of 5.2 metres, allows for a maximum take-off weight of 75 kg, a maximum payload weight of 12 kg, boasts an endurance of 12 hours, a maximum speed of 110 km/h and can equally operate from a ground runway or catapult, as well as land with a parachute. Like the TARSIS 25, its ability to operate in diverse weather conditions stands out.
AERTEC Solutions will also be exhibiting other innovations at HOMSEC in unmanned aerial systems guidance, navigation and control systems, as well as its Earth control system. All with the aim of consolidating its relations in the defence sector, both nationally and internationally, and taking advantage of new business opportunities offered by this emerging field in the current market.
“AERTEC Solutions has been two decades bringing their expertise to the aerospace sector, ”which in recent years has intensified in the area of defence systems, where we contribute to embedded software design and innovation in the control and guidance systems of both aircraft and other unmanned vehicles," states Pedro Becerra, the company's director of aerospace and defence systems.
