AERTEC is once again taking part in another edition, this time the 5th, of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference (UMEX), UMEX, the only trade fair specialising in unmanned aerial systems in the Middle East. UMEX takes place from 21 to 23 February at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, The event will be held in a space of more than 25,000 m2, where exhibitors from all over the world will come together to showcase the latest developments that will integrate the UAS market.
It also showcases its complete portfolio of advanced technology solutions for the fields of guidance, communications and UAS architecture.
AERTEC is one of the four Spanish companies participating in this international fair, which will feature the TARSIS 75 fixed-wing aerial platform, with a wingspan of more than five metres and 75 kilograms of MTOW. This high-performance unmanned aircraft is on display at UMEX armed with integrated laser-guided A-Fox air-to-ground micromissiles and the laser designation capability, unique in UAS in its segment. The TARSIS 75 allows for different configurations and missions, and is designed for both civil and military observation and surveillance applications.
AERTEC also brings to UMEX its complete portfolio of advanced solutions, developed with Spanish 100% technology, for the fields of guidance, communications y UAS architecture, The UAS is a ground control, navigation and guidance system (GCS), the UAS simulation environment and high-tech sensors.
The UAS market in the Middle East has great growth potential, and is one of the scenarios in which AERTEC operates, not only in this sector, but also in the area of airport consultancy and engineering. To this end, it has a sales office in Abu Dhabi since 2019.
