AERTEC Solutions, a multinational engineering and consultancy company specialising in airports, aerospace, and air transport, has highlighted Latin America as a one of the airport markets with the highest growth potential forecast for the coming decades, according to airport director Carlos Berenguer International conference on infrastructure and energy that was held on September 9th and 10th in Bogotá (Colombia).

In his conference, entitled “Challenges for Airport Development in South America”, Carlos Berenguer has highlighted the opportunity that this market represents for the further development of the airport sector, “something that is already being fostered by the intense change that is being experienced in various countries in recent years but which will be even greater in the future given the 6% growth in air transport foreseen for the continent over the next 20 years”.
