AERTEC Solutions has recently expanded its facilities and offices in Madrid with the aim of improving its services for the aerospace industry present in the region, especially the Airbus Group. The new headquarters doubles the previous facilities the company had in Madrid and is equipped with the latest communication and energy saving and efficiency technologies.
A new site is opening in the town of Getafe, next to the main Airbus facilities in Spain, specifically in the La Carpetania Business Park, at the junction formed by the A-4 motorway with the M-50 and the R-4. Other important national aerospace companies and firms are also located in this Business Park.
AERTEC Solutions' new headquarters doubles the company's previous facilities in the Spanish capital, at Madrid-Barajas Airport, and covers an area of 300 square metres. The offices have space for a total of 30 workstations and are equipped with the latest technology for energy saving and efficiency, particularly with LEED certification, the highest accreditation for sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings. Its infrastructure also includes several offices and meeting rooms, a server room, and a staff room.
The opening of these new offices aims to provide the company with a better working space and the most innovative communication technologies to offer a technological and local response to its clients and partners in the aerospace industry, and specifically to the Airbus Group. Likewise, it will allow us to strengthen collaboration with the European aeronautical group and have more extensive facilities for potential increases in the workload derived from its current contracts.
AERTEC Solutions has been selected by Airbus as a preferred Manufacturing Engineering Support Services (ME3S) supplier for its civil aircraft. They will be responsible for providing their knowledge and expertise in the industrialisation, manufacturing and assembly support, as well as other design and production support tasks for the A350, A380, A320 and A330 programmes, primarily.
The contract covers the development of engineering services at Airbus plants in the United Kingdom and Spain by AERTEC Solutions. In this way, the company will work with the Getafe (Madrid) factory, providing engineering services for the plant's manufacturing process, tooling, and automation systems, as well as managing work and transferring technical specifications to other Airbus subcontractors and auxiliary companies.
