Heathrow, the secrets of a great airport

Every year, lists are made about the largest airports, those with the most traffic, the most beautiful, the most desired by passengers, the most ecological, or conversely, those that show the most negative side of the statistics.

Heathrow video coverThe Heathrow Airport, in London, appears almost permanently in the “top ten”of the best, in any of the categories. It is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive airports in the world. It is also a powerful engine for generating trade, business, employment and development, not only for London or the United Kingdom, but for a large part of Europe. In 2013, it handled a total movement of 72.4 million passengers, and this year, 2014, with the data from the last quarter still outstanding, it has already reached 55.7 million. Everything indicates that it will surpass the figures from the previous year.

Here is a video showing us much of The secrets of Heathrow to be what it is, a World Airport Reference. It's not just about great infrastructure, but a mechanism where thousands of workers coexist, each with a specific mission, converging on what every airport aspires to: improving the passenger experience.

Enjoy it.
