AERTEC Solutions takes another step forward in its External expansion plan with the acquisition of German engineering company The QualityPark Group (QPAC). Based in Hamburg, this high-tech engineering and process provider has extensive experience in the aerospace market.
QPAC, which specialises in manufacturing engineering and electrical systems, alongside significant R&D activity, works in close collaboration with clients such as Airbus or Premium Aerotec.
QPAC has accumulated a large expertise in the areas of process management, manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, electrical and tooling systems design, working closely with clients such as Airbus, Premium Aerotec, FERCHAU Engineering or LATESYS GmbH, and participating in programmes such as the A400M, A320, A330-200, A350XWB or the A380.
For Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, founder of AERTEC Solutions, “this business integration will allow us to position ourselves in a clearly strategic market for us, as German is, and to consolidate ourselves in turn in the European market, where we already have a significant presence”.
AERTEC Solutions already has offices in the United Kingdom, in addition to its four Spanish locations in Malaga, Seville, Madrid and Barcelona. On the American continent, it has headquarters in Colombia and the USA. “AERTEC is a company with international vocation since its origins, over twenty years ago. We work day by day to grow as one of the most important engineering companies in the aerospace industry in Europe, capable of influencing world aeronautical development, and the acquisition of QPAC comes to add to that objective,” states Vicente Padilla, also a founder of AERTEC Solutions.
The international engineering and consultancy firm based in Malaga expects to grow by 15% in their global turnover Thanks to the acquisition of QPAC, which currently has more than 50 employees, and which also allows it to have a presence in three of the most important aeronautical hubs in Europe, such as Hamburg, Broughton and Andalusia. The company manages numerous multidisciplinary projects for the main manufacturers in the aeronautical sector, such as Airbus, of which the company is currently Tier 1 preferred provider of manufacturing engineering services and programme management for their civilian and military aircraft, further offering their knowledge and experience in the activities of industrialisation, manufacturing support, assembly and support for design and production, as well as in test systems engineering.
