Bank dedicated to improving the reliability of the on-board power electronics system, allows tests to be carried out leading-edge verification and validation, research and qualification in a harsh environment with multiple constraints (electrical, thermal, humidity, vibration) according to DO-160E.
The power test bench (PTB) combines a climatic chamber, a vibration test system and an electrical characterisation test bench in a single system. It includes a graphical interface to simultaneously control, monitor and configure multiple parameters. It is capable of testing up to 25 electronic components, as well as power converters of specified dimensions, with a test volume of 850x850x600 mm and a mass limit of 75 kg.
In terms of environmental conditions, the PTBs can vary the temperature (from -65°C to 180°C), humidity from 15 to 95% (relative humidity) and can set the vibration up to 107 g (vertical) and 81 g (horizontal). In terms of electrical characterisation, the power test bench can supply up to 1200V DC, 400A DC or 312V AC three-phase current and deliver a maximum electrical power of 40kW.
