AERTEC carries out engineering services for defining and developing the industrialisation of functional tests for all Airbus D&S programmes at the company's different sites: Seville (Spain), Getafe (Spain) and Bournemouth (UK).

The activity includes test engineering services in conjunction with the design department to improve the testability and functionality of the systems.

While AERTEC's service covers all aircraft systems, it has a particular focus on:

  • Editing and revision of ground test instructions.
  • Production assistance for the execution of ground test instructions.
  • Assistance to the design department in debugging test requirements and constraints.
  • Technical assistance on the apron for flight testing, certification and approval.
  • Management of agreements with the design department, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing quality and services.
  • Definition of operational tests for specific elements, assembly and test benches.
