Process and Systems Engineering; Planning, Production and Control (2007)
Scope of services:
¬ Analysis exhaustive both of the assembly line activities and of the activities in other phases of the programme that could affect the FAL. Other constraints inherent to the process (sequence of activities, material resources, costs, schedules, etc.) were also taken into account.
¬ On the basis of the information obtained in the initial analysis, a master plan of activities for each of the workstations that make up the A400M final assembly line. This plan was calculated on the basis of the execution time and human resources allocated.
¬ Specific tools were used for the management of the control panel and efficiency indicators (OEE), in order to ensure traceability and monitoring of these activities.
¬ Before defining these tools, all relevant operational processes were standardised of the A400M final assembly line according to improvement criteria based on the Lean concept. The objective of this activity was to optimise costs and implementation time in the customer's ERP systems.
¬ Once the processes that add value to the operational planning activities were identified, the management tools.
