The capital of Malaga will host the International Airport Congress that AERTEC Solutions, the international engineering and consultancy firm specialising in aeronautics, is organising for the next few years. 21 and 22 September. The event will bring together some fifty world experts in the sector from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Colombia, Peru, England, Ireland, Germany and Spain, and will be held in the auditorium of the Pompidou Centre.
The International Airport Congress is the first of the three final major events of AERTEC Solutions' 20th anniversary celebrations.
The central theme of the Congress will be the public-private partnership modelThe PPP (Public-Private Partnership) or P3 formula, which in recent years has been consolidating as a successful operating model for many airports. Three projects that operate or will operate under this P3 formula and on which AERTEC Solutions is currently working will be analysed: El Dorado II Airport (Bogotá) in Colombia, in the preliminary phase for the structuring of the concession; Jubail Airport in Saudi Arabia, in the pre-bidding phase; and Lima Airport in Peru, one of the most important success stories of the concession of an airport under the P3 model. Renowned experts will give several conferences to analyse these three case studies, which are at different stages of the P3 model.
The inaugural conference, entitled "The importance of the P3 model in airport operation"The event will be led by Vicente Padilla, co-founder of AERTEC Solutions, while AERTEC Solutions' General Manager of Aviation, Carlos Berenguer, will close the event.
The International Airport Congress is the first of the three final major events in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of AERTEC SolutionsSince the beginning of the year, the company has been carrying out a full programme to commemorate its anniversary, with monthly working breakfasts with different relevant players in the technological and aerospace fields. Two other important events will be held between now and the end of the year: a book presentation at the end of October in Madrid, published by the company, and an event with the entire workforce in November in Seville.
