Business advice (2017)
AERTEC has provided design analysis and consultancy services for Fraport AG (one of the world's largest international airport operators) to help them prepare their bid for the RFP for Terminal Operator Services for the refurbishment of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport. To do this, we formed two teams - one in Europe and one in the US - to provide a better service.
The scope of the services included:
- Competitive analysis of the other teams participating in the tender.
- Review of the indicative design prepared by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
- Proposed improvements and innovations to optimise the management of operations, maintenance and concessions.
- Advice on operation and maintenance strategies and definition of the performance incentive policy between the owner and the operator.
- Forecasting operating costs and replacement capital expenditure.
- Assessment of transition requirements and strategies and operational readiness.
- Coordination and management of technical proposals for all work streams.
