Laser-guided munition / Designed for Class I UAS
The Fox I micro-missile, also known as the μASM A-Fox, is specifically designed for use with RPAS and features intermediate inertial navigation and semi-active laser terminal guidance. It is 900 mm long, weighs 3 kg and has a range of up to 4 km. It is capable of striking soft targets, targets of opportunity and unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) sensors.
AERTEC's Fox I is based on a high-performance guidance kit that has been developed in-house and a laser seeker for precision aiming.
AERTEC's micro-missiles, like the Fox I, offer great potential for drone applications, allowing small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) to be equipped with efficient, lightweight and adaptable precision strike capabilities. These micro-missiles enable pinpoint tactical strikes on lightly armoured targets, minimising collateral effects.
Their modular design and small size allow them to be integrated with various types of drones, providing mission flexibility. Furthermore, their adaptability allows drones to perform close air support and beyond line-of-sight engagements with onboard sensors and targeting systems, facilitating operations in high-risk environments.
