TARSIS 25 co-production and co-marketing agreement with CIAC

The International Fair Expodefensawhich was held from 4 to 6 December at the International Business and Exhibition Centre in Bogota (Colombia), has served as a framework for announcing the signing of an agreement between AERTEC and Colombian Aeronautical Industry Corporation (Corporación de la Industria Aeronáutica Colombiana) (CIAC) for the co-production and joint marketing of TARSIS 25, the high-tech lightweight RPAS designed entirely by Spanish international engineering and consultancy for observation and surveillance tasks.

El acuerdo entre AERTEC Solutions y CIAC permitirá la coproducción y comercialización conjunta de la plataforma aérea TARSIS 25.

CIAC is one of the main entities in the aeronautical industry belonging to the Colombian Ministry of DefenceAERTEC has been collaborating with CIAC for several years as a technological partner for the generation of skills and capabilities in the unmanned aircraft segment, one of the most promising sectors in the Latin American country. As a result of this relationship, AERTEC and CIAC have already signed a Memorandum of Understanding or MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) for mutual collaboration in engineering, development and manufacturing of aeronautical products.

The agreement that has now materialised at Expodefensa is much more specific, and will enable the co-production and co-marketing of the TARSIS 25 airborne platformThe project was launched, especially among public but also private entities interested in acquiring this unmanned aircraft, which allows for multiple configurations.

The Latin American country is one of the main strategic markets international engineering and consultancy specialising in aeronautics, also in the airport sector, where it is carrying out the structuring of the new Colombian airport El Dorado 2, in Bogotá, and the development of the master plan for the José María Córdova international airport in Rionegro, just outside Medellín.

In addition to its RPAS TARSIS 25, AERTEC exhibited at this 6th edition of Expodefensa other innovations in control and guidance systems for unmanned aircraft and, in general, its entire portfolio specialising in Aerospace and Defence Systems. Expodefensa is the leading trade fair for the defence and security sector in Latin America, and was attended by more than 13,500 professional visitors, with the participation of 300 exhibitors and 30 countries.
