Reinforcement in the area of aeronautics industry

 

AERTEC Solutions strengthens its management team with the incorporation of Nick Siangolis to the aeronautical industry.

Nick Siangolis has more than 30 years experience in the world of architecture and aerospace, both in design and project management. He has worked directly or indirectly with aerospace and defence companies, both small national companies and large international companies, such as Westland Helicopters, Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DRA/DERA), GKN Aerospace, BAE Systems and Airbus Operations.

NickSiangolis-002Nick Siangolis's professional career has included work in the following areas in particular aeronautical design areaThis has earned him relevant awards and recognitions such as Design Engineer for Product Improvement and Innovation with Airbus Operations, or Excellence and Customer Satisfaction with GKN Aerospace, specifically for the redesign of the wing cowling for the A320/A321 single-aisle aircraft.

Having led the Single Aisle Wing programme at GKN Aerospace, he managed both simple and major modifications to part or all of the wing assembly. He has also led various teams during his engineering career with Airbus and GKN, most notably his concept designs of the Winglet devices for the Airbus A320 aircraft.

In addition, he was part of and led the design team for the Harrier aircraft based at Farnborough, and participated in the Concorde supersonic aircraft programme at Filton, Bristol; an experience few aeronautical professionals can turn down.
