The multinational engineering and consultancy company AERTEC Solutions, specialising in the aerospace industry and with a presence in the world's major aeronautical programmes, is committed to growing in diversification with its business line dedicated to the design and development of on-board systems for the aerospace and defence sector.
The company participated in the international trade fair Paris Air Show 2015which was held at Le Bourget from 15 to 21 June, presenting its platform TARSIS, a high-tech light tactical unmanned aircraft (UAV/RPAS)designed for observation, surveillance and light weapons integration applications.
TARSIS adds to its portfolio of on-board systems solutions, and other innovations in control and guidance systems for unmanned aircraft.
This platform area is presented as a versatile, high-performance solution which allows for different configurations and missions. It has a wingspan of 5.2 metres and a length of 2.9 metres, and its operations can be carried out both conventionally on the runway and with catapult and parachute and airbags. TARSIS features also include a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 65 kg; a maximum payload weight of 12 kg; and a range of 8-15 hours. In addition, it can reach a cruising speed of 110 km/h. and its operation is based on an internal combustion engine, propeller-driven and powered by batteries and an electric generator.
"It is a further step in the process of diversification that in the framework of the aeronautical industry We are sure that these new products in the area of aerospace systems and aerial vehicles will arouse the interest of the large companies and agents participating in Le Bourget 2015," says Pedro Becerra, AERTEC Solutions' Aerospace Director. To this end, the company has contributed its experience and know-how He has accumulated experience in systems work for clients such as Airbus, Thales, OGMA-Embraer and the Spanish Ministry of Defence.
AERTEC Solutions, which is in the process of international growth, also attended the French trade fair with the aim of "reinforcing its international presence". innovative positioning in aeronautical manufacturing industrialisation and engineeringwith our progress in the field of what has come to be known as the Factory of the Future"said David Doral, the company's Director of Industry and Manufacturing Engineering. In this sense, the company unveiled some of the advances it has been working on to optimise engineering, manufacturing and assembly processes in the aerospace industry and to improve efficiency and safety, such as automation, simulation of production environments, remote assistance, haptic environments, sustainable lighting, RFID environments, etc.
"All these new technological developments may allow AERTEC Solutions to access not only new business niches linked to engineering, but also new international markets of strategic interest for the company," says Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, the company's CEO.
