Daniel TorresAERTEC Solutions' Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has been chosen as one of the Top 100 CFOs of the Yearas part of the initiative developed by the magazine Actualidad Económica and the professional financial services firm KPMG.
This is an initiative that is held annually to recognise the work and performance of financial managers in the Spanish business sector, and which this year celebrates its eighth edition.
In Daniel Torres' assessment as CFO, he stands out for his strategic performance in the area of corporate financeand his work at the head of international financial management, optimising the management of resources for their reinvestment in innovation and internationalisation of the company, taking care of the relations of his area with different stakeholders (banks, suppliers, clients, brokers, etc.) as well as contributing to the efficient control of expense items and the search for profitability in order to meet the objectives set in the short and long term.
Our CFO received the award along with the other winners at a ceremony held on 13 July at the Hotel Ritz in Madrid, which was chaired by Íñigo Fernández de Mesa, Secretary of State for the Economy, and closed by Juan Rosell, President of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE). The event was attended by the main financial executives of the country's leading companies.
Daniel Torres has a degree in Business Economics and a degree in Law from the University of Malaga, and has a professional career spanning 19 years. After working at FIAT-Toyota, AENA, and companies in the tourism-transport sector, Torres joined AERTEC Solutions in 2002 as Financial Director. "This recognition is an award to share with my team and the rest of my colleagues at AERTEC Solutions. I am sure that we are going to continue growing, innovating, creating jobs and facing with enthusiasm, commitment and effort the new challenges we will face in the future," he says.
