AERTEC consolidates its position in electrification and advanced avionics at PAS2025

AERTEC successfully concluded its participation in the Paris Air Show 2025, reaffirming its position as a leader in on-board systems, aeronautical electrification and industry support. The Spanish technology company has strengthened its role as a key partner in the sector's sustainable transformation process, in line with the global goal of Net Zero Emissions by 2050.

During the seven-day event that was held in Le Bourget, AERTEC showcased its key innovations - aimed at delivering a new generation of more electric, safer and more efficient aircraft - at its stand in the Spanish hall. These include the PDU, a power distribution unit that enables efficient management of the available on-board energy. It is a scalable and modular system that facilitates real-time management of all energy, enabling more efficient flights. This system is aligned with the aircraft electrification concept and is helping to achieve the goal of net zero emissions in the aviation sector by 2050.

The other system on display at the AERTEC stand was the RIU, a unit that acts as a concentrator computer that collects real-time data from different (analogue and digital) sensors on the aircraft, as well as from communication buses. It is able to perform signal conditioning and send this data synchronously to the flight computers and the aircraft's bionic systems, ensuring safe and robust operation in a wide variety of flight conditions.

In the field of defence technology and products, AERTEC also showed off the new BAT, its new glide bomb for UAVs, to Paris. Following the success and excitement generated by this new development at the latest FEINDEF, the technology company is aiming to continue promoting it in the market, given that its capabilities are “especially valuable in the defence sector”. This system is equipped with GPS/INS guidance and semi-active laser terminal guidance, so it is highly accurate and has the range required to be a key asset in this segment.

When he was asked why the company had attended the Air Show, Rafael Márquez, AERTEC's Defence and Aerial Systems Business Development Manager, replied: “as a tech development company in the aeronautical sector which is committed to fostering sustainability in the industry, our goal is for our partners and customers to view us as a reliable and robust company that develops solutions in both the civil and defence sectors”.

Partnerships, visits and strategic schedule

AERTEC's Aircraft Systems and Defence and Aerial team followed a hectic schedule of professional meetings throughout the show, strengthening our global partnerships and identifying new opportunities for joint development in the fields of (to be completed according to the focus). By attending this year's Paris Air Show, the Spanish technology company has consolidated its presence in the aerospace sector's leading international forums and reaffirmed its commitment to purpose-driven innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
