The Pakistan Aerospace Council (PAeC, Pakistan Aerospace Council) is a cluster organisation for companies operating in the aerospace, defence and high-tech electronic devices markets. It was initially created with the aim of globally promoting technologically advanced and value-added players in the Pakistani market, with the objective of achieving sustainable and export-oriented growth of Pakistani companies operating in Pakistan. within the aerospace sector.
The PAeC supports the development of the aviation sector and related technologies, in addition to enhancing the visibility of Pakistan's aerospace sector on a global scale.
The PAeC is still a very young organisation, although its member companies have a wealth of experience. These companies constitute the supply chain of its main customer, the Pakistan Aeronautical Complexwhich manufactures, under licence from the SAAB Group, the aerobatic and training aircraft Super Mushshakin addition to the JF-17 fighter aircraft. There are now more than 450 Mushshak flying around the world and, in certain countries, they are often used extensively in flight schools. The MFI-17 model of Mushshak (also known as the the competent) is a solid, lightweight aircraft, made primarily of metal, with two or three seats and a single engine, which also has a fixed three-cycle landing gear. It has been developed to meet US FAR Part 23 certification in the normal, utility and aerobatic categories, and can be used for short, unplanned trips and is completely independent of any ground equipment. The Super Mushshak (known as the agile) Advanced Avionics is an upgraded version of the Mushshak with a more powerful engine, cockpit air conditioning, electronic instruments, manual/electric elevator and rudder trim. The Mushshak meets the requirements of any initial training programme today and is a perfect basic aircraft for flight training. In addition to this role, it is ideal for instrument flying, aerobatics, stalls and deliberate augers, as well as night flying and navigation.
The PAeC favours the development of the aviation sector and related technologiesin addition to improving the visibility of Pakistan's aerospace sector on a global scale, with the aim of gaining an increasing market share. Our aim is to satisfy the interests of members at the political level, to facilitate the networking between our members, develop business opportunities by organising attendance at major trade events and establish a smoothly functioning triple helix structure.
The activities of the ECAP are centred around the following key objectives:
- To raise awareness of the image and profile of the high-tech sector Pakistan.
- To play an influential role in local policy debates and proceedings of vital importance to our industry.
- Providing support to supply chains and high-value manufacturing in Pakistan.
- Promote the investment in technology and innovation.
- Supporting the business development opportunities of the global market.
- Increase the value of membership.
- Getting a sustainable growth of the high-tech private sector in Pakistan.
- Promote the global connections among customers in the aerospace sector in terms of subcontracting work, as well as aircraft assembly contracting.
PAeC will participate in AIRTEC 2017 along with other Pakistani aerospace companies. Our aim is to introduce Pakistan's aerospace players to the global market and create connections that will enable the global aviation sector to make use of our members' potential for subcontracting work.
