The BAT is a high-precision glide munition designed by AERTEC to be integrated into UAVs (e.g. SIRTAP). Its semi-active laser (SAL) terminal guidance system and INS/GNSS navigation allow it to operate effectively, even in GNSS-denied environments, guaranteeing precise impacts on moving or stationary targets.
With no ITAR restrictions, the BAT combines cutting-edge technology with operational flexibility for modern defence missions.

Fuze with three safety mechanisms
BAT missions are performed in three phases:
Launch and speed adjustment (> 50 kts) with deployment of aerodynamic surfaces.
Intermediate navigation using INS/GNSS for maximum in-flight efficiency.
Terminal guidance supported by semi-active laser to ensure pin-point accuracy on impact.
This sequence ensures optimal performance in all kinds of tactical scenarios.
