PMO Services – Airbus operations

 

AERTEC Solutions has been selected as a tier-1 supplier to Airbus to provide Project Management services to Airbus and EADS in Spain. The AERTEC Solutions PMO oversees projects, programmes or a combination of both:

¬ Coordinated planning

¬ Project prioritisation and execution ¬ Project monitoring and control

The service has been outsourced. AERTEC Solutions’ PMOs are therefore located at the client’s facilities and integrated into the work teams.

Each service is tailored, but focused on the specific type of background needed.

There are two kinds of service levels depending on the functions required:

1. Operational service level

¬ Submission of project management deliverables

¬ Harmonisation of project management practices and continuous improvement

2. Advanced service level

¬ Submission of project management deliverables

¬ Management of the project’s critical phases

¬ Management of large and highly interrelated projects

¬ Providing the client with methodological support

¬ Greater support in the management of the project’s major stakeholders ¬ Harmonisation of project management practices and continuous improvement

Our services are presently being provided to the A350XWB and A320 projects at the Getafe plant.

¬ Synchronising activities and re-planning tasks

¬ Attending periodic monitoring meetings and project status reporting ¬ Industrialisation planning and monitoring

¬ Milestone monitoring and reconciliation. Prioritisation

¬ Configuring main KPIs

¬ Risk analysis

¬ Action plans

¬ Cost and resource monitoring

¬ Integrating the project’s stakeholders
