AERTEC Solutions, the engineering and consultancy multinational specialised in air transport and the aerospace industry, has taken a step further in its international growth process, having been awarded a new contract consisting of designing the new airfield at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru.

The project, in which AERTEC Solutions will work alongside the engineering firms Arcadis and Ramboll and the British architectural studio Grimshaw, falls within the framework of the modernization and enlargement process of the airport, which is operated by Lima Airport Partners (LAP), a subsidiary of the German airport operator Fraport AG. Through this project, Jorge Chávez International Airport, in Lima, seeks to adapt its facilities to demand until the end of the concession, over the next 15 years, to thus position itself as a large international hub for all of South America.

Through this new contract, AERTEC Solutions is expanding its presence in Latin America, where it has recently carried out engineering and consultancy projects in countries like Colombia, Panama, Brazil, Chile and Peru.

AERTEC Solutions’ engineering and consultancy services in the airport area cover the airport’s entire life cycle, from conception and planning through to the design and development of all of its facilities, including consultancy operations and the management of related infrastructures and services.
