Beumer (anciennement Crisplant pendant la durée de notre contrat) Service de planification et de conception et contrôle sur place

Date: 2009-2010

After the construction of new Fuerteventura’s Terminal, AENA developed a new auxiliary building to process all the baggage with 100% inspection, EDS clearance and early storage area.

This airport grew from almost 4 million passengers in 2010 to more than 6 million in 2018.

AERTEC formed part of a multidisciplinary design team to furnish and deploy this new infrastructure.

This baggage handling system was supplied and installed by Beumer, and AERTEC was responsible for all the additions, ancillary and auxiliary equipment including: the design of the BHS control and monitoring system (information system, software requirements, etc.), electrical system, lighting system, LAN network, firefighting systems, CCTV, structural analyses (for belt conveyors, testing equipment, etc.) and all civil construction design works related to the BHS system

AERTEC also provided technical onsite supervision assistance during the installation and construction of the BHS and all other associated systems. Testing & Commissioning, and ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) was also managed by AERTEC.

The added value provided by AERTEC includes the ability to mobilise a high technical team of BHS engineers onsite supporting this challenging project with a fast tack approach reaching the conclusion within budget and on time.
