Farnborough is a small town in the county of Hampshire, in the south of England, with a population of about 70,000. However, it is the place of The birth of aviation in the United Kingdom<\/strong>. It all began in the early 20th century with the establishment of the Royal Balloon Factory and the construction of the first aerodrome, the site of the first powered flight in the British Isles, in 1908. It was used exclusively by the RAF until 1989, when it began to be used for commercial flights. It is currently operated by TAG Aviation.<\/p>\n
