This is where we start and end our journeys when we use air transport. They are <strong>huge, highly complex infrastructures<\/strong>The terminal is the place where the movement of aircraft, passengers, baggage, merchandise, fuel, catering, maintenance, air traffic, etc. is managed. However, we usually only maintain contact with a small area of them, such as the passenger terminal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">However, <strong>the most essential part of the airport's activity<\/strong>The first one, which gives it all its meaning, takes place in the <strong>airfield<\/strong>. This is where a number of systems and facilities come together to enable aircraft to evolve efficiently and safely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We have created this infographic to <strong>familiarise ourselves with some of these facilities<\/strong> that are fundamental to the development of airfield activity. Some are very recognisable while others are often overlooked by passengers.
