Everything has been, and is, gigantic in its design, manufacture, logistics and operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It feels like only yesterday, but it was actually more than twenty years ago (26 April 2005) that it made its maiden flight. In October 2007, the first A380 entered service with Singapore Airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no doubt that this is&nbsp;<strong>one of the most risky bets in the aeronautics industry<\/strong>&nbsp;The components are manufactured in many parts of the world, with four countries (Germany, Spain, the UK and France) assembling major parts and sub-assemblies. They all converge in Toulouse for final assembly, which, moreover, must be done under very specific times and conditions.&nbsp;<strong>in order for the production chain to meet the objectives<\/strong>&nbsp;marked for delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transport of the pieces, some of which are several tens of metres long, is done by land, sea and air by means of transport vehicles which, in themselves, are already a spectacle due to their enormous dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indeed, the Airbus A380 attracts attention for almost all its figures, colossal in any section we mention.
