AERTEC Solutions is organising an International Airport Congress in Malaga

Malaga will host the International Airport Congress being organised by AERTEC Solutions, the international engineering and consultancy firm, which will be held on 21 and 22 September. This event will bring together around fifty world-renowned experts in the industry from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Colombia, Peru, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and Spain and will be held at the Pompidou Centre auditorium.

The International Airport Congress is the first of the three large final events to celebrate AERTEC Solutions’ twentieth anniversary.

The Congress’s main theme will be the public-private partnership model (also known as PPP or P3), which has been consolidating itself as a highly successful airport operating model in recent years. More specifically, three projects operating under this P3 model which AERTEC Solutions is working on will be analysed: the El Dorado II Airport in Bogota, Colombia, which is in the preliminary concession structuring phase; Jubail Airport in Saudi Arabia, which is in the pre-tender phase; and Lima Airport in Peru, one of the most important success stories of an airport concession operated under the P3 model. Highly renowned experts will give conferences to analyse these three case studies, which are at different stages of the P3 model.

The keynote speech, entitled The importance of the P3 airport operating model, will be given by Vicente Padilla, a co-founder of AERTEC Solutions, and the company’s Aviation General Director, Carlos Berenguer, will close the event.

The International Airport Congress is the first of the three large final events to celebrate AERTEC Solutions’ twentieth anniversary. A complete programme of commemorative events has been held since the beginning of the year to commemorate this anniversary, including monthly working breakfasts with a series of relevant players in the fields of technology and aerospace. Another two significant events will be held before the end of the year: the presentation in Madrid of a book published by the company at the end of October and an event involving the entire workforce that will be held in November in Seville.
