For the 5th time, AERTEC, an international company specializing in aerospace technology, participates once again in yet another edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference (UMEX), the only trade show specializing in unmanned aerial systems in the Middle East. UMEX is held from February 21 to 23 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, in a venue of more than 25,000 m2, where exhibitors from all over the world come together to showcase the latest developments that will integrate the UAS market.

UMEX is an event that has already consolidated as the only event in the Middle East specifically dedicated to unmanned aerial systems.

AERTEC is one of the four Spanish companies participating in this international trade show, in which its TARSIS 75 fixed-wing aerial platform will be on exhibit. With a wingspan of more than five meters and a MTOW of 75 kilograms, AERTEC is the design authority and manufacturer. This high-performance unmanned aircraft is exhibited at UMEX, armed with integrated laser-guided A-Fox air-to-ground micro-missiles and with laser designation capability, unique in UAS in its segment. The TARSIS 75 allows for different configurations and missions, and is designed for observation and surveillance applications in both civil and military environments.

AERTEC also brings to UMEX its full portfolio of advanced solutions, developed with 100% Spanish technology, in the fields of guidance, communications and UAS architecture, such as its ground control, navigation and guidance system (GCS), the UAS simulation environment and high-tech sensors.

The UAS market in the Middle East has great growth potential, and is one of the scenarios in which AERTEC operates. In addition to this sector, AERTEC also operates in the area of airport consulting and engineering. The company has a commercial office in Abu Dhabi since 2019.
