During the official opening of the AEROPOLIS Aerospace Engineering and Innovation Centre, The aeronautical consultancy firm presented its solutions.
AERTEC presented its latest developments in on-board software and hardware for an autopilot project, along with a low-cost laser guidance system. Via the beam of a laser pointer on an object, and using a series of algorithms, the tool controls the navigation system, allowing the high-dynamic vehicle in which it is installed to be directed towards the desired object. It is also a dual use system, for both civil and military applications.
The new centre on the AEROPOLIS park houses the offices of the multinational firm. From there it manages its engineering services aimed at covering the industrial cycle of aerospace programmes such as the A400M, along with its aerospace and defence systems division.
