With this acquisition the multinational aeronautical firm strengthens its expansion in aircraft manufacturing engineering services.

GLENSER Aerospace is an engineering services firm specialised in the aircraft manufacturing cycle, with projects currently contracted worth five million euros. GLENSER created during a strategic move by the firms AERTEC and ELIMCO in order to consolidate their position in the aerospace sector. The major manufacturing firms demanded greater volume, larger scale and greater technical and financial capacity. The main objective was to source suppliers that were capable of taking on the current and future challenges faced by the industry, not just at local level but also across Europe. The acquisition of 100% of GLENSER is fully in line with this process and represents a significant expansion for AERTEC Solutions in terms of the aeronautical engineering services it provides.

Efective immediately, AERTEC incorporates 90 people, along with their current workloads, into its current setup. This means that the firm now has more than 300 professionals in its workforce. This move converts the aeronautical consultancy into one of the main engineering firms at national level and provides it with the strength in depth it needs to carry on developing with success in the European market in the cycles of industrialisation, manufacture and testing of aircraft.

AERTEC is a multinational engineering and consultancy firm specialised in the aeronautical industry, airports and air transport. It has carried out studies and projects in more than 18 countries, participates in the world’s largest aerospace programmes and has reference projects at 70 international airports. The company has offices in Spain, United Kingdom, France, Portugal and Morocco. With the acquisition of GLENSER Aerospace it now has a team of more than 300 professionals and a projected turnover of around 16 million euros.
