AERTEC is an international company specialising in aerospace technology. It is active in the aerospace industry, defence and airports. The company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. This role covers a Manufacturing Engineering position within the CNC Machining Department of the Metallic Details Value Stream.
Your main tasks will be:
- Create NC layouts from models / programme’s and drawings.
- Create Manufacturing plans inclusive of in process inspection from NC Programme’s and NC layouts.
- Edit/input Manufacturing plans into the company ERP system.
- Have an understanding of quality techniques and measuring equipment.
- Support the quality department with LAI and FAI reports.
- Manufacture Station / Intervention Centre participation.
- Process Improvements.

Requirements
Minimum educational qualifications:
Engineering degree.
Minimum experience:
Three (3) years.
Minimum requirements:
- HNC / ONC / related qualification in Engineering (aeronautical, mechanical, manufacturing or production).
- CNC Machinist preferably time served, level 2/3 City & Guilds or level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
- 5 + years of CNC Machining experience.
- Have programming experience in Heidenhain, Fanuc etc, with a milling biase.
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT,
- Ability to contribute effectively to team-working and group discussions,
- Good verbal and written communication skills,
- Producing clear and precise written reports,
- Possess strong analytical skills,
- Ability to work to timescales, achieve personal deadlines and contribute to team objectives.
